Care packages

Care packages are packed and mailed to college students twice a year to be received in time for All Saints Day and the Feast of St. Valentine. Care Packages consist of donated items from parishioners. Our college students usually feast on granola bars, candy, cookies, popcorn and chips. The packages have also provided living essentials such as toothbrushes, tissues, lotion and chap stick. Each package always includes a handwritten note from Father Casey, as well.

We also are always in need of boxes to package the items in, as well as monetary donations for postage as each box costs approximately $7.50 to mail.

It is our desire that our young adults continue to feel a connection to God's loving community. We hope in the future to have more photos of the assembling of the care packages, our college students who receive them, and of Sandy Ulmer. Wendy Hallowell and Sandy Ulmer are instrumental in making this ministry stay vibrant.
