2011 / 2012 SUNDAY SCHOOL CURRICULUM RESOURCES For your convenience, links for Sunday School curriculum resources are now available on the Christian Formation page of the St. Ed's website.
GIVE SOMETHING DURING LENT St. Edward’s is sponsoring a food drive through the season of Lent. The Drive will run from Ash Wednesday, Feb 22nd to Easter Sunday, April 8th and donations will again go to The Columbia Food Bank at St Paul's Episcopal Church. Fr. Peters provided the following list of items generally needed during the year for distribution to the less fortunate families in the immediate community. Jelly (no glass jars), peanut butter, canned pasta, soup, Jello / Pudding, boxed pasta, spaghetti sauce, canned meats (Spam/ Tuna), Mac & Cheese, skillet dinners, pork & beans, canned vegetables, cereal, boxed / instant potatoes, beef stew, canned fruits, tea / coffee and rice. There will be clearly marked boxes for your donations in the Narthex. Thank you in advance for supporting The Columbia Food Bank.
ST. EDWARD'S OFFERS e-GIVING IN 2012 St. Edward’s is pleased to offer electronic giving as a convenient alternative to plate and pledge collections. “e-Giving” will be activated within the next few weeks and parishioners will have the option to use a major credit card or bank draft for recurring contributions and one-time gifts. e-Giving also allows you add, edit and schedule ongoing donations and view / print your giving history. It’s quick, confidential and secure and can be accessed on-line at your convenience 24 / 7. e-Giving is the easiest way to continue supporting St. Edward’s. A demo has been added to the e-Giving page of the website and an announcement will be made when the account is active.
FEBRUARY ADULT FELLOWSHIP - 4PM - SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH. Valentine's Day / Presidents' Day Gathering WHERE: Dorris Smith's house at 3130 Briarwood Blvd. (West Hempfield). BRING: Finger foods (dips, spreads, hors d'oeuvres, etc.) OR a chocolate or cherry dessert! (The sign-up sheet will have the details so we don't have all desserts and no finger foods or vice versa!) (Snow Date: Sunday, February 19th at 4:00.) DEADLINE: Sunday, February 5th. Please sign up on the sheet in the Parish Hall. If you can't get in to the Parish Hall for the sign-up sheet or for questions call Elaine Radcliffe, 285-4912.

KITCHEN STOVE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Turn the circuit breaker to the "On" position and follow the "notes for ranges with electric spark igniter" found here on pages 14 through 17.
GROCERY GIFT CARDS at ST. EDWARD'S Did you know that St. Edward's participates in grocery card programs at Weis, Giant and Stauffers of Kissel Hill? If you buy your groceries at anyone of these stores, this is a great way for you to support St. Edward's while grocery shopping! Here is how it works: Request to enroll via Michelle at the parish office or via email at stedsoffice@comcast.net You can choose a variety of card denominations each month for any or all of these stores, cards are delivered bi-weekly or monthly and you pay for your cards when received. 5% of your card value goes to "Grocery Card Income" for St. Edward's which allows us to support the various programs and ministries at St. Edward's.
EVENING KNITTING GROUP Always wanted to learn to knit? Have dreamed about becoming a famous "Knit Wit" but can't make the Tuesday I PM time? Well. have we got a group for you-Knit Wits at Night! Tuesday evenings at 7 PM join Helen Castle in the Library area for teaching of knitting. fellowship and .. Of course .. KNITTING! All skill levels are welcome!
LANCASTER COUNTY OFFICIAL POLLING STATION - 4902 St. Edward's welcomes all county residents to cast their vote during election periods. Voting booths are are available in the Parish hall and the building is accessible for the physically impaired.
